NEW BEGINNINGS - A TIME TO PLANT

Pam Finlay
"New Beginnings - A Time to Plant"
Acrylic on Canvas

God's springtime is  a time for new beginnings and new growth.  It is production time, the beginnings of the manifestations of Gods promise in your life.  There’s hope and expectation, new opportunities.  It is a time for sowing and planting, and for new growth to emerge and all you have to do is stand and wait for your flower to come into full bloom.

Eight is the number of new beginnings, we are new creations in Christ Jesus.
When Jesus came up out of the tomb He was the new beginning.  He is the head of a new creation people.  His Kingdom is being revealed on this earth, awakening to the sound and fragrance of heaven.

Colossians 1 v18

“And He is the head of the body of the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the pre-eminence.”

Believing in Jesus, who has the pre-eminence in everything.  Jesus is the head of the body, the church, and He rose up from the grave that we may follow him in resurrection life.

John 1 v1-5

1 “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the word was God.

2 He was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

4 In Him was life and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it”.

Genesis 1 v1

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

The number 8 represents circumcision of the heart through Christ and the receiving of the Holy Spirit.
Those in Christ are becoming a new creation with His character being created by the power of God’s spirit.
By God’s grace and love we will be given a new beginning, as promised in God’s Word.

A time of new beginnings is a time of singing, fruitfulness and a blossoming time.  We can enjoy the sweetness of his presence and the fragrance of His Word.

Song of Solomon 2 V11-13
11 " For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell.  Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!"

Also the scripture from Revelation 22 v2 “The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations”.

This is a time for healing and restoration.  New growth is coming forth.   Thank you Jesus for living in us.

Blessings

THE GARDEN OF HIS HEART

The Garden of His Heart - Pam Finlay 2013
Acrylic and collage on canvas

This painting was done in November 2013.  Before sharing about it in our congregation the Lord instructed me to place band aids on the heart and literally remove them as I was sharing the message.  He said that those band aids covered wounds in people and unless they were removed the wounds wouldn’t heal.  Like when a sore is covered  it doesn’t heal.  This painting was painted in an hour, in the Spirit.  The Lord told me to go to just one magazine off the shelf and he would show me the words that needed to be placed in the painting.  They were all found in that magazine.  The following words and sentences were revealed and if you look closely at the painting you will see them all.
They were the words:

The Vine       Dream       Step Up         Home          Fruit          Loved           Passion

Power         Time           Grow            Hope        Redemption       Things will be exposed

Master        Prune back to get more         You are my sunshine my only sunshine

Fragrance        Rose           Transform

All found in a short time from one magazine.  The centre (Jesus) is in the centre of our heart, a locked garden, a garden enclosed.  Song of Songs 4 v 12.    He is longing to become one with His bride, beautiful with no flaws, abiding in the vine(John 15 V4-5).

We must walk in purity to walk in full power.  A repentant heart, living in peace, a clean heart.

Psalm 51 v 10.

The blood purifies the heart.  A right condition of the heart is necessary.

To be utterly immersed in divine love, will keep us grounded in Christ in the midst of all trials.   The eternal cross saves us from self.

Jesus desires to live in our hearts.
Revelation 3 v20

“Behold I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me”

He desires to enter in to our heart to change us.

2 Peter 1 v 19

The prophetic word confirmed which you would do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts

A pure heart edifies.  His prayer in the garden “Make them one as we are one” (John 21-23).  Love is so important.  Blessed are the pure in heart.  For they shall see God. (Matthew 5 v8).  He is motivated by light and love.

Your garden will flourish on righteousness and fruit.  He will plant in our heart our deepest desires, causing us to bloom.  He is saying open that gate to your heart and you will have entry into His garden.  That garden is full of fragrant flowers, glorious colours, incredible beauty, paradise, the garden of God.

Blessings
Pam.

BETWEEN THE CHERUBIM

Between the Cherubim
Acrylic on Canvas, Pam Finlay,  May 2014

In between the Cherubim, guarding the way in to the Father’s heart.  The Tree of Life is in the midst.  It is found within our garden and only as we move through the fire will we discover it.  Proverbs 25 verse 2.

We are his vessels living entirely for Him.  The heart on fire, a season when people are coming to end of self.  A royal priesthood is arising (1 Peter 2 verse 9).  The cherubim speak of that which will come forth.  They are of the Mercy Seat.
Between those cherubim God communes with us.  He speaks to us (Numbers 7).  God spoke to Moses from the between the two cherubim.

The cherubim point to Jesus.  The cherubim represent the identity to see.  They look towards the mercy seat.  They are in the mercy seat.  The mercy seat is the cover to the Ark of the Covenant.  They identified with the person and work of Christ.  They speak of in-Christed ones, new creations in Christ Jesus, redeemed people who are in perfect union with Christ (2 Corinthians 5 verse 17).

They reveal the glory of God.   The cherubim shine in this new image of gold, they are the express image of God’s thought, the Sons of God.  They veil the glory of the Father’s image while there is still flesh.  All spirit is required to see. When our heart truly desires him he will reveal himself to us.  The garden of life, this beautiful place is waiting to be revealed to you. Love the Lord your God with all your heart.   The cherubim of pure gold shall see him.  “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God” Matthew 5 verse 8.

IT'S ALL IN HIS HANDS

"It's all in the Fathers hands"
 Pam Finlay
Acrylic on Canvas  May 2014

John 7 verse 38
He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

Tapping into His living water, just believe and let it flow.  I finished this painting yesterday.  The peace of God flowing in and through our hearts.  The peace that Jesus imparts to us, as we rest in His grace.
