THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

"The King of Kings and Lord of Lords",

About a week ago the Holy Spirit gave me the following scripture from

Hebrews 1v8 -9

8 But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever (to the ages of the ages), and the sceptre of Your kingdom is a sceptre of absolute righteousness(of justice and straightforwardness).

9 You have loved righteousness(You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought and action) and You have hated lawlessness(injustice and iniquity).  Therefore God,(even) Your God(Godhead) has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.

Matthew 5 v16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honour and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven

He desires us to enter His courts with Praise (Psalm 100 v4) and set the earth alight for Him.  We’re to be singing a new song.  We are His masterpiece.  His purpose is to create righteous people, saved by faith not works.  The fullness of Christ to be formed within.  There is no unrighteousness in the Kingdom of God.  Christ rules in righteousness.  The Lord Jesus Christ wants us to let our light shine, in obedience with our whole heart, guided by the Holy Spirit.

As the Scepter of Righteousness, Jesus governs His kingdom and as the Prince of Peace he protects his kingdom with justice and righteousness.  He is the triumphant King.  King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Revelation 19 v11-16

11 After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness).12 His eyes [blaze] like a flame of fire, and on His head are many kingly crowns (diadems); and He has a title (name) inscribed which He alone knows or can understand.13 He is dressed in a robe dyed by [a]dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God.14 And the troops of heaven, clothed in fine linen, dazzling and clean, followed Him on white horses.15 From His mouth goes forth a sharp sword with which He can smite (afflict, strike) the nations; and He will shepherd and control them with a staff (scepter, rod) of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath and indignation of God the All-Ruler (the Almighty, the Omnipotent).16 And on His garment (robe) and on His thigh He has a name (title) inscribed, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

The scepter is a baton of royalty and is Jesus’ ruling rod of authority.

The Harp in the painting symbolizes the “Prayers and Praise”.  The awakening sound to Earth.  The music flowing from the Lord of Hosts.  Praise is the power of heaven.  The harp has 10 strings.  David’s harp had 10 strings(Psalm 92v3).  The harp is used to portray the exquisite harmony of the Lords purpose.  In the bible the harp is used to bring in the “new song” (Revelation 14 v2-3).

That “new song” is also mentioned in Revelation 5 V 5-10 in relation to the scroll and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

The golden bowls of incense are the prayers of God’s people, awakening all to take part in God’s harmonic praise, a sweet fragrance lifted up to Him.  Peace, joy and praise.

“All that is to come”.  Jesus, the Scepter of Righteousness, The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, ruling and reigning in all power and authority.

Blessings

THE LION AND HIS SONS

"The Lion and His Sons"

July 2014
Acrylic on Canvas
This is what happened when I took the first photo.
This light appeared supernaturally in my art room over "The Lion of the Tribe of Judah" - Jesus.  The Father is shining His light upon His son.

THE LION AND HIS SONS
Judah means praise and the power of praise is an almighty ruling force.   I was drawn to the following scripture in
Genesis 49v8-12 Judah’s brethren shall praise Him.
8Judah, you are the one whom your brothers shall praise; your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons shall bow down to you.Judah, a lion’s cub! With the prey, my son, you have gone high up [the mountain]. He stooped down, he crouched like a lion, and like a lioness—who dares provoke and rouse him?10 The sceptre or leadership shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh [the Messiah, the Peaceful One] comes to whom it belongs, and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.11 Binding His foal to the vine and His donkey’s colt to the choice vine, He washes His garments in wine and His clothes in the blood of grapes.12 His eyes are darker and more sparkling than wine, and His teeth whiter than milk.

Jesus is called the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah” and in this scripture Jesus is depicted as “Shiloh”,
That sceptre of righteousness is Jesus.  Shiloh in Hebrew means the one to whom it belongs, “the peaceful one”.  In Judges “Shiloh” is depicted as a place of rest.  The Messiah is the bearer of rest.  He is the giver of peace and rest.
In this painting Judah is likened to a lion cub, a young lion and the mature Son – Jesus as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.  In due time the cub will mature into a young lion and finally into a mature son with the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, Spirit of counsel, Spirit of  power, Spirit of knowledge and the Spirit of reverence for the Most High God.  The Lion of the Tribe of Judah is resting his head upon his young sons, exemplifying the love He has for them.   Recognizing that He is their leader, a mighty warrior, a conqueror, He is teaching them His ways of righteousness and justice.   Their heads are turned toward him symbolizing their recognition of the anointing and the love that they have for Him.  Jesus has given us that new life in Him and he is showing His love to his inheritance. In that process of maturity and purification He is bringing us to that place of becoming that peace and rest to others, a fully mature son, that ultimate union in perfect obedience and submission to the Most High.   He is enveloping us in His love, all-encompassing as symbolized by the rainbow (the New Covenant made possible by Jesus himself).
Ephesians 4v13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him
His people will arise with His authority and strength during the process of maturing and purification.  They will exhibit the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5v22) in the process of maturity.  A quiet and gentle spirit, meekness, humility, kindness to others, a hidden person of the heart, yielded to Him day by day and abiding in Him.  These traits are precious in God’s sight.
The Holy Spirit enables us to come into maturity.  He is our guide and helper and enables us to obey God and gives us the empowerment to be like Jesus and fills us with His power.
Jesus is the vine and when we are fully purified through the guidance of the Holy Spirit our garments will be washed in that new wine, we will be clothed in His love.  His blood is what washes us clean.
Conjoined to Jesus, the true vine, His sons coming into maturity, that fullness and fruitfulness, honouring God.

ARISE

"ARISE"

ARISE
31/7/14
This painting arose from scripture in:
 Psalm 68 v1
To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
Psalm 24 v7-9
7Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in! 8Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.
9Lift up your heads, O gates, And lift them up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!…
The Lord, strong and mighty in battle is calling His people to rise up, chosen in their time, leaders of His army to step into His promises.  We need to be fervently praying daily, rising up in His strength, power and authority.   We need each other to come together.  Opening up the ancient gates to let the King of Glory in.

A turning for the nations.

Isaiah 60 v1
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.

From glory to glory, the Body of Christ are beginning to ascend and go into the new.  The Lord is painting a new picture, He’s moving us outside of the boundaries that the world puts on us.   Those heavenly gates are being opened.  Focus on Him, when the enemy comes to stir up unbelief and fear, look to the Prince of Peace, keeping our eyes fixed on Him, Jesus.

He is looking for His bride, we are to be the Living Waters.  He is returning for His bride.  He is meeting us at the well.  We are to drink from that fountain.  Life giving waters, the Holy Spirit.

Walk in Peace at all times no matter what is going on.  Go into the secret place of the Most High.  Learn to walk in peace, “peace like a river”
Isaiah 66 v12-14
12 For this is what the Lord says:  “I will extend peace to her like a river,
and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm
and dandled on her knees.13 As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”14 When you see this, your heart will rejoice
and you will flourish like grass; the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants,
but his fury will be shown to his foes.
