ON THE HEART OF GOD

On the Heart of God – He is our shelter and strength, we are on His Heart.  The Lion of the Tribe of Judah represents Jesus in all authority coming to His people.
A scripture that I was drawn to whilst painting was Joel 3 verse 16.

This painting arose from a friends request to paint two silver cups (representing redemption) with a rainbow river (representing covenant) flowing from cup to cup in a letter u.

The following is what the Lord revealed during the course of painting:

I was led back to the book of Genesis in the bible to the story of Joseph and how God uses his silver cup to open the door to healing and forgiveness and reunites Joseph’s family.   God brings Joseph’s  brothers to repentance through his silver cup.  This silver cup is used to soften their hearts, reconcile them back to him and bring them to a place of full obedience.

It is only by His complete redemption and grace that God removes the veil and allows us to be led by His spirit who reveals all truth through His Word.

Truth and Grace go hand in hand and they came through Jesus Christ giving his life for us and setting us free.

Joseph’s youngest brother Benjamin shows this picture of his life being full of God’s unmerited favour. Joseph’s name means “may he add”.   Benjamin’s name means “son of right hand”.   God’s right hand is symbolic of his righteousness and favour, honour and authority.

Psalm 48 verse 10
As is Your name, O God, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness (rightness and justice).

Joseph’s story in Genesis clearly shows how he pours his grace into his much loved brother, Benjamin’s life.  They shared the same mother and father, Rachel and Jacob.

Jesus sealed us with this redemption, forgiveness of sin in entirety.

The Holy Spirit led me to Genesis 45 verse 22

“To each of them he gave changes of raiment, but to Benjamin he gave 300 pieces of silver and five changes of raiment”.

300 is the number of His faithful remnant, that perfect wholeness.   5 speaks of grace.  Raiment(garment) represents His covering, His blessings on our lives to carry out His promise.  Silver represents redemption.   He has given His faithful remnant through redemption a covering of His grace.   We require this grace to fulfil the destiny He has for us.   Through the grace of Jesus we have received His full and perfect redemption.

The abundance of His grace is His gift of righteousness to us.  He has given us the opportunity to reign with Him, taking of the cup of His love,  living out His promise, knowing His truth, resting and trusting in the finished work of Jesus, directed by the Holy Spirit.

The significance of the rainbow in scripture is a covenant between God and His people, this everlasting covenant, His promise for us to have His eternal life.

The dwelling place of the Lord and the Holy Spirit is within our heart and mind.    The bride is to make herself ready fully submitting to the Lord.

Proverbs 3 verse 5-6

5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight and understanding.

6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Narrow is the way.  The Lord is coming as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, in authority and victory.  He is preparing His bride in this season.   He sees and knows the heart.  He is seeking that heart-to-heart relationship.  Look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Be the True worshippers with the Fathers heart.

Revelation 22 verse 12

22 Behold I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit.

PETRA

12/6/14

The Lord gave me the words, Petra and ledge of the rock.

The definition of “Petra” is a large mass of rock, a ledge, cliff, cave.  Of interesting note is that “Ledge” also means joint.  Conjoined with Jesus, two becoming one, united with him.

Matthew 7 verse 24, 25:

24 Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

Built on the rock, Jesus, our foundation stone.  Petra means rock(as defined above) and is used 15 times in the bible, mountain of a rock.  That “rock” is used to build houses in and on.

Luke 6 verse 48
48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.  And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.

2 Samuel 22 verse 2
And he said, the Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

It denotes that firm foundation and it serves as a metaphor for our faith in Jesus Christ.   That unshakable foundation, that unmovable faith from God.  Jesus is called that Rock.   The Lord is setting His people on high places.

Psalm 18 verse 1,2.

1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in who I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

“Have I not commanded you, Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” Joshua 1 verse 9

Jesus, the rock of salvation.  He will deliver us.  He will heal us.  It’s all because of Jesus.  He came to save.  Jesus came humbly.  He is seeking for us to enter into His presence at a deeper level.  We are to operate out of our spiritual senses (the Holy Spirit guidance) and rest and trust in Him.
