THE JOURNEY

“The Journey”
Pam Finlay
watercolour and embroidery on canvas
August 2019
This painting is called “The Journey”.
The first thing I was drawn to draw was the triangle.  This speaks of the “Triune” nature of God.  His DNA is encircling us, His nature moving in and through us radiating the frequency of heaven.  The divine strand of His DNA encompassing our whole being, providing an everlasting source of supply.  The Hebrew letter Gimel was revealed to me during the course of painting this too.

THE DOOR OF TIME AND ETERNITY

"The Door of Time and Eternity"
Pam Finlay
Watercolour on Paper
June 2019

God has been speaking to me about time recently and through painting this is what He is showing me.  This painting, I was told to call “The Door of Time and Eternity”.  The Dalet, which is the 4th letter of the Hebrew alef-bet was on my mind.  Yeshua is the door and we can enter through time and eternity with the Lion of Judah.  This is what He shared with me.

THE DOOR OF TIME AND ETERNITY
A watch resembles a porthole. It has a transparent opening in the centre, to see the movement of time.  Its tension is perfectly set for it to move correctly.  The hands, just like your heartbeat, constantly rotate every second as time passes by.  Inside the watch are the balance wheels that regulate.  All the watch components work hand in hand.  God has an assigned time for everything.  Trust and obey, His process is Kairos not Chronos.  He is shaping our destiny, one moment at a time.  That second hand of His time clock is ticking.  The second man is Yeshua, the Lord from heaven, the Lion of Judah, who is our door to Time and Eternity.  He is syncing our every moment,t he best is yet to come!   Eternity is our destiny.

SWIFT AS GAZELLES

Swift As Gazelles
Pam Finlay
Acrylic on Paper
May 2019

Alertness and swiftness from the Lord alone.  He sets my feet on places of elevation.  His heavenly Kingdom, being established on earth as it is in Heaven.
I  Chronicles 12:8
Some Gadites joined David at the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of Valor, men trained for battle, who could handle the shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions and were as swift as gazelles on the mountains.
Psalm 18:33
Who makes my feet swift as the deer; who makes me stand on high places ISV
Psalm 18:33

Through you I ascend to the highest peaks of your glory to stand in the heavenly places, strong and secure in you.  TPT

BEYOND MEASURE

BEYOND MEASURE
by Pam Finlay
Acrylic on Paper
April 2019

This painting I have been led to call “Beyond Measure”.
Ephesians 3:
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the Power that works in us.
21 Unto him be glory in the congregation (Gr. ecclesia - called out ones) by Christ Jesus throughout all generations of the ages of the ages. Amen.

“Beyond Measure” indicates something that is immeasurable, too large or extreme to calculate.

The reason I was given Elephants to paint is because they are the largest animal on earth. It would be very difficult to measure their size. They have no animal predators and their only predator is man.

After I was given the words “Beyond Measure” I was led to a background that I had started previously and immediately saw an elephant’s ear and trunk in the background. I knew then that this painting had begun. I instantly saw numerous circles forming before my eyes on the paper and God reminded me that His love is everlasting. A circle has no beginning or end. It is a reflection of eternity.

God’s Ecclesia (his called out ones) receive His extreme goodness. His goodness is eternal. He desires to do infinitely more than we can ever imagine. He is filling our cup to overflowing because we are heirs to His promise.

Thank you Lord for your unmerited favour that is flowing beyond measure in and through us.  We give you all the glory.   Amen.

Immeasurable blessings
Pam

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD

To Have and to Hold
Pam Finlay
March 2019
Watercolour and Acrylic on Paper

The revelation for this painting was given in two parts as I was painting.    On the first day I was given these words about the bride.

“She is ready to lay down her crown at Jesus’ feet and declare who is worthy to receive glory, honour and power".

Revelation 4:11 You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.

She is coming to Christ with all of the praise and adoration she has for Him.  She is giving Him all the glory and He is rewarding her with eternal life.  God’s Kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”.

I was given to read all of Revelation 4.
On the second day this is what God shared with me.

“To Have and To Hold”.  A marriage ceremony uses this phrase and this is the phrase I was given to call the painting.  It means “possess for life”.
God is saying – “My passion is restoring the Kingdom, I desire for My pure bride to be joined with Me in perfect harmony.  Holy matrimony is My desire.  I love My bride.  She is like a precious flower springing forth”.

After this scripture upon scripture was revealed.  This is how the scriptures flowed.

Isaiah 43:19 For I am about to do something new.  See.  I have already begun!  Do you not see it?  I will make a pathway through the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 61:11 For as the earth brings forth its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Song of Songs 2:12 Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.

The honour and joy of laying down your crown.  God has given His bride “a crown of beauty” (Psalm 149:4), the crown of immortality.  His garment of praise will replace the spirit of heaviness.  New life is expressed through praise and it will produce righteousness in His Kings and Priests. “Look inwards” God is saying

Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say to you, that ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit in the throne of His glory, Ye also shall sit in the throne of his glory; ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

I was also led to read from Verse 26-30.

Psalm 45:15With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought; they shall enter into the king’s palace.

17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

The earth is being transformed by Christ Jesus.  Eden will be restored.  This is our preparation time.

Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater.

Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,

Who was and is and is to come! (Rev 4:8)

Be blessed,

Pam

THE WHITE ROSE

THE WHITE ROSE
Pam Finlay
Acrylic on Canvas
February 2019

God is giving you roses.  He is highlighting the white one in the bunch.  A white rose symbolises purity, innocence and signifies marriage.

In this painting the first thing I noticed was the cross and I was prompted to place the words “Perfect Love” on the Cross.  This is Jesus, He is our Perfect Love.  We can come to him and He will remove the impurities through His Holy Spirit and make us ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb.  Union with Christ.  Through the cross He has set you and I free.

Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

You are God’s and you are loved by Him.  You have been grafted into the Vine, Jesus Christ.  The power of His love is never ending.
