THE ROYAL TREATMENT

"The Royal Treatment"
Pam Finlay
Acrylic on Canvas
June 2017
This painting is of a Monarch butterfly and Dandelion seeds.  Monarch is defined in the dictionary as a person or thing that holds a dominant position, a hereditary sovereign as a king, queen, or emperor, a sole or absolute ruler of a state or nation.
As I was about to start this painting I heard the words “you are given the royal treatment”.  It came as an advertisement in my emails for a product and the Lord highlighted it to me.

The other thing God showed me when I had done the background was dandelion seeds blowing and moving fast through the air.  Wherever they landed they grew.
Like the Dandelion seeds as you mature you become more like Christ.  You share the love of Christ wherever you go.  You are a royal ambassador of the Kingdom of God here on earth.  Riding on His outstretched wings you are royalty.  As a follower of Christ, you are part of the royal lineage of heaven.  You are a king and a priest to our God, a Kingdom citizen that cannot be shaken.  You are a son or daughter of the Most High and you were born to fly high.  The King of Kings is high above all other kings.  You are crowned with His lovingkindness and His mercy.  So great is His mercy to those who fear him.  You are a royal representative of the crown, a loyal follower of the Monarch of Heaven.
Scriptures that resonate for this painting are:
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light (NIV)
Psalm 103:4b Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him (NKJV)
Revelation 1:6 And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever(NKJV)
Revelation 5:10 And have made us unto our God a kingdom and priests, and we shall reign on the earth (NKJV)
Blessings and love,
Pam
