The Firmament- God’s handiwork, Heaven’s embrace and a
Holy Habitation
The Firmament is an arched, solid vault of Heaven. God created the firmament to separate the “waters
above“. In the sky it is stretched out
like a canopy.
The Firmament – It has many windows, some of which open and close for the sun and moon to travel through or to let water, which is
held above, full through as rain, latter rain.
Genesis 1 Verse 6 -8 Then God said "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters".

As Ezekiel mentions in his vision in Ezekiel 1 Verse 22
“The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the
living creatures was like the colour of an awesome crystal, stretched out over
their heads”.
Psalm 148 Verse 4
“Praise Him you heavens of heavens, and you waters above
the heavens”
Fling wide your heavenly gates Lord, the scripture in
Genesis 28 V 12 is ringing true this morning. Jacob’s vision of the ladder from
earth to heaven. The Holy Spirit woke me
at twenty eight past twelve this morning and brought me back to this
scripture. God is saying "Here I am".
Jesus is the chief cornerstone. We are precious in his sight. He wants us to come out of the darkness and into His glorious light. He has chosen us.
